Applications are invited for
Sanction of Pre-Matric
Scholarships
(New Scheme) to SC Students studying Classes 5th to 8th during 2013-14. Students
should apply onlineat
epass.cgg.gov.in.
Last Date to apply for SC PreMatric Scholarships for 2013-14
is 30th Sept 2013.
The full details of the new SC
scholarships was released vide GO.57 dated 2.7.2013 of Social Welfare
Department.
The
Value of Scholarships is Rs.100 for Boys and Rs.150 for Girls (Days
Scholarships). The Scholarship will be awarded for 10 Months.

ELIGIBILITY
CRITERIA TO APPLY FOR SC PRE MATRIC SCHOLARSHIPS
1 The Student
should belong to Schedule Caste.
2 His/Her
parent or Guardian income should not exceed Rs.2.00 Lakhs per annum.
3 He/She should
have an Aadhar Card. In case he/she does't have, he/she shall secure an Aadhar
Card by visiting enrollment
center.
4 He/She should
be a regular, full time student studying in a Government or Local Body such as
Zilla Parishad or MandalParishad or
Municipal Corporation or Municipality or in an Aided School.
5 If a student
has to repeat a class, he/she shall not get scholarship for that class or the
second year or subsequent year.

It
is necessary to fill all the * marked fields in the application forms
(otherwise the application will not be accepted).
Annual
income of parent /Guardian of the applicant ::For SC and ST students should be
below Rs.2.00 lakh. for BC
students
should be below 45000/-
Income
And Caste Certificate should be obtained from MEESEVA only.

your UIDAI (AADHAAR) Number in Online Application Form and upload the Scanned
copy of AADHAAR Card.
Enter
your Bank A/C details and Upload the Scanned copy of Bank Pass Book.
Obtain
a print out of the filled in application form , enclose all the copies of
required documents and submit the same in
the
institution (School) where the Student is Studying.

online registration of application without submission of hard copies with
necessary enclosures with in stipulated date doesnot
confer any right to the student for sanction.

The
Head Master of the School Should Collect all the Applications from the Students
applied, Prepare a Booklet and submit it to Verification
Officer of respective School alloted by the concerned Department.

The Andhra Pradesh State Minorities Finance Corporation Limited has been incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 in the year 1985. The main objective is to assist the weaker sections of Minorities viz; Muslims, Sikhs, Buddhists and Parsis for their socio-economic development in collaboration with Banks and Corporation provides Subsidy and interest Subsidy. The Source of funding for the corporate is from Government of Andhra Pradesh and National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation, New Delhi.
Pre Metric scholarship will be sanctioned to the economically backward minority students studying in class 6th to 10th whose parent/guardian income is below Rs 1 lakh per annum. Pre Metric scholarship will be sanctioned to the economically backward Minority students from 6th to 10th Class, Whose family income does not exceed Rs 1 lakh- per annum. The Scholarship amount shall be disbursed to the students who put in 75% attendance in normal time.
1.The eligible students should submit filled in application forms through the institutions to the Executive Director/DMWOs of the concerned districts. 2.On receipt of scholarship forms, EDs/DMWOs will scrutinize all application forms and data will be enterd in the website through online and submit the eligible students list to the selection committee for approval. 3.The Selection Committee consists of Joint Collector, District Education Officer, ED APSMFC/DMWO. The list will be approved by the committee duly following the procedure for sanction of scholarships. Release and Disbursement. The scholarship amount will be released to the students bank account directly from the ED/DMWOs office.

1.The Government of India as part of “Strengthening and Restructuring of ICDS Scheme” has proposed a minimum six hours of working of Anganwadi Centres (AWCs) to provide different services such as health, nutrition and early learning to the children below 6 years, pregnant women, lactating mothers and adolescent girls
2. As per existing Government orders, the timings of Pre-School in Anganwadi Centres is from 9.00 am to 1.30 pm
The Commissioner, Women Development & Child Welfare Department, Hyderabad has stated that there is a need to extend the timings of Pre-School in the AWCs upto 4.00 pm for the following reasons

which were scheduled to be held from 30/01/2014 to 04/02/2014 are postponed due to on-going
agitations in some parts of the state and also keeping in view of conduct of the VRO/VRA
examinations on 02/02/2014.
The terms and conditions, rules and regulations are the same as mentioned in the
Notification No. 09/2013, dated 24/07/2013. The Time-Table with revised dates of examinations
is available in the Commission’s website.
The candidates who are applying the Departmental Tests, November-2013 Session
examinations should download their Hall-Tickets with revised dates.

AP Govt. Holidays for the year 2014
AP Government released the General holidays and optional holidays list for the year 2014 vide G.O.Rt.No. 5236 DATED: 29-11-2013.
The Government of Andhra Pradesh direct that the days specified in Annexure-I(A) shall be observed as General Holidays by all the State Government Offices excluding the holidays falling on Sundays shown in Annexure-I(B) and Optional Holidays shown in Annexure-II(A) except the Optional Holidays falling on Sundays shown in Annexure II(B), during the year 2014. The State Government directs that all offices under State Government shall remain closed on all Sundays and Second Saturdays in all the months during the year 2014. In addition to the above mentioned General Holidays in Annexure.1(A), the State Government employees may avail themselves of Optional Holidays not exceeding FIVE during the year 2014 on the festival/occasions specified in Annexure-II(A) to this order, at their option and irrespective of the religion to which the festival pertains. Permission to avail any of these holidays shall be applied for, in writing in advance and will normally be granted by the Superior Officers competent to grant casual leave except when the presence of an individual employee is considered necessary in exigencies of Government work.
The Government also directs that General Holidays shall not ipso-facto apply to the Industrial Establishment and Public Undertakings under the control of the State Government, the workmen engaged in Public Works Departments and Educational Institutions in this State. Separate orders regarding the festivals/occasions when these Institutions to observe holidays shall be issued by the concerned Administrative Department of the Secretariat. If there is any change of date in respect of Idu’l Fitar, Idu’l Zuha, Muharram and Id-e- Milad as per the moon sight or any other holiday declared now, it shall be announced through electronic/print media. All the Departments of Secretariat, Heads of Departments and District Collectors shall take action according to such an announcement and without waiting for formal order about the change of date.
